Includes Popeye #16 best (1951) by Dell Comics & Popeye #26 (1953) also by Dell. These are both from the Golden Age Era of comics. They are both in very good condition. They have always been framed behind glass. They show age appropriate wear, but if I remember correctly the last time I had them out (years ago) the flaws were very minimal (remember, these are 70+ years old). If there were any small tears, it would be extremely minor, but I honestly don't remember there being any. I do know the bindings are tight with the staples holding firmly. You can see, even through the frames that the covers are in excellent shape. The one from 1951 (top comic) is extremely rare, esp in this condition (average price is approx. $135. for just this one). The frames are both real wood frames and of high quality. NOTE: If when looking at the photos, you notice what looks like wrinkles on the cover, it is NOT. The comics, in addition to being behind glass, they also each have been bagged and boarded.
