This is a vintage Huntleigh home medical collectable device. It is model D520. It requires one 9 volt battery which is not included. You can hear inside your body with this device. I placed it directly against my skin and I could hear my heart beat. Doesn't seem to work through clothing. It has a built in speaker and also has a set of ear phones. It has lots of static while you are moving the probe around but the static is greatly reduced when the probe is held stationary. It comes with the instructions on a cassette tape. There is an empty tube of ultrasound transmission gel which will be included so you can see what is needed if you want to replenish it.
