This necklace was hand-made by me, over several days, and is a One-Of-A-Kind design, inspired by the layered and complex designs of Miriam Haskell and Stanley Hagler. I use vintage components whenever possible, for a more authentic look. The pendant is comprised of several vintage elements; the pearl seed beads were hand stitched onto a Haskell NOS best perforated backing, and the little flower and leaf vines, and filigree leaves, are also NOS Haskell pieces. The rest of the pendant is also made up of vintage pieces that are not Haskell, but look like something she would have used. All the wiring and stitching on the back has been covered with the Haskell backing that came with the perforated base. The two pink twisty beads closest to the pendant, are also vintage from Japan, possible Cherry Brand. The gorgeous gold tone bead caps on these two beads are vintage as well. The gemstones are all new Rose Quartz, accented with new fire polished Czech crystals beads, and brass spacer beads. The toggle clasp is a vintage one of unknown age. This necklace measures 18" end to end including the clasp, and the pendant measures 4".
It is important to note that vintage components are just that - vintage - and will usually show some signs of wear or use.
