I leave the strings long on the bracelets that way you can adjust them to your need. Once you have decided how long you will need your strings, just tie a knot where you would like to shorten them to, cut off the remaining cord then burn the little bit of string at the tip of the knot to seal it and give it a nice finish. ( Important: the knots serve as stoppers so the string does not slide out of the slip knots. )

The adjustable slip knot closing system makes them easy to take on and off and assures a comfortable and secure fit.
