As Fairy tales go this one is a bit brutal for a modern audience. So keep that in mind if buying to read to children.
Illustrated on folded crepe paper book.
Tied with light colored, what looks like silk, string at edge to bind the book together. See pictures.
All the pages are intact and none have major damage / color is good.
Author - Folk tale translated into English by Mrs. T. H. James.
Book has un-numbered pages I counted 22 Pages - not including back of front and back page that lists other stories in the series.
Measure 6" H x 4" W
Older book. be sure to take a good look at all of the pictures, they will give you a good idea of condition.
Considering age it has survived in good antique condition with general wear from use and age.
The front and back cover have "dog eared corners on "spine" edge. Small areas on color change, very light.
Stored in smoke free area and no unpleasant odor. Suitable for reading.
