Here comes a very popular Steiff koi or carp with all identification marks; Steiff button and label (121838), paper tag are in place. Vintage Steiff koi carp was produced 1998 to 2000 and is made of orange spotted mohair, felt fins, black plastic eyes and firm stuffing. There are some few spots on our koi where the mohair seems to be a bit thinner, I am not sure if this is a flaw or maybe was this way from production. Steiff koi measures 20 cm / 12 inches long and is, except for those thin spots, in excellent condition!
