ABOUT WOOL
Wool is a natural fibre derived from animal hair. It is an excellent thermal insulator (keeping
out the cold) while allowing moisture to pass through (absorbing moisture and emitting it on the
outside). Wool is a heat regulator that is warming in winter and cooling in summer. It is
environmentally- and health-friendly and completely degradable.
Merino wool is the most well-known type of wool obtained from the Australian Merino sheep
breed.
Cashmere is one of the best and most expensive types of wool. It is obtained from the Kashmir
goat, which is very fine and silky.
The underside fabric has antibacterial properties due to its silver fibre content. Silver fibres also
have excellent electrical conductivity – up to 99%.
