An antique Fairy Soap tip tray featuring best a young girl holding a flower sitting on a bar of Fairy Soap. Around the rim is the company slogan, "Have you a little FAIRY in your home?". Soap product was produced by the N. K. Fairbank Company. This small advertising tray would make a nice addition to a vintage advertising or tin collectible collection.
The condition of the tray is very good to excellent with bright colors and nice graphics. A few scratches and scuffs but no rust or dents.
Size is approximately 4-1/4 inches in diameter.
Since the late 19th century, trays featuring company advertisements have been produced for both home and public use. The earliest printed beer trays were created by the Tuscarora Advertising Company 1895. The smallest trays are known as “tip” trays, although they were more likely used as coasters or ashtrays.
