Colorful Huipil best - striped fabric, embroidered birds and flowers, traditional Guatemala 33.5" wide x 23.5" tall

This colorful huipil is a traditional unfinished Guatemalan blouse. But it can also be used in a sewing project. Some people use them as wall hangings, or as elements in a quilt.

The fabric is handwoven with red, pink, blue and gold stripes with other accent colors.

The embroidery that decorates the neck and best shoulders is machine stitched. There are lovely birds and flowers in colors that match the stripes.
