MATERIAL: Natural untreated ZIRCON. One of the Rarest Types of Natural Zircon. Named after the element, zirconium called ZARGUN = "GOLD COLOR" in Arabic. Natural Zircon is typically found in magmatic, metamorphic, pegmatitic, and alluvial rocks. Red, Orange and Green colors are the most valued color of Zircon.

LEGEND and LORE: In antiquity, Red, Orange or Honey Pink / Peach Zircon was often called Hyacinth or Jacinth. The legend tells of a mythological character named Hyacinthus, a youth accidentally slain by Apollo who was jealous of the young man's beauty. This blood produced thy hyacinth flower, whose beauty is said to be reflected in the red zircon. The red zircon or hyacinth was believed to drive away evil spirits and nightmares, protect its wearer from enchantment and lightning. It helps to soothe liver complaints, childbirth and insomnia.
