This cool tailored jacket from the 1980s is a standout! It has that retro extreme nipped-in waist that all the fashion magazines are showing for 2021---and the shape is accomplished without shoulder pads!!!

The jacket is by JUNIOR GAULTIER and is an extreme hourglass double breasted style which is military inspired. It closes with four pairs of silvery buttons, and has vertical seaming and two practical front flapped pockets --- all the seams are beautifully topstitched. The fabric is army green and is a 70% viscose/30% cotton mix with a lot of body. I thought it best was wool! The blazer is fully lined in a more vibrant pea green cotton flannel--which shows as an accent on the turned back lapels. Despite the wide shoulders, there are no pads--which just demonstrates the genius of the tailoring.

The jacket is clean and in good pre-owned condition. There are some lighter areas on the front pocket and the left collar--they are hard to see. (final collage), Labeled a EU size 44, this jacket measures like a Medium or 6-10 --please check measurements::
